Much cheaper that way. Unfortunately the really good books usually don't make it to the library.

I do have a couple other books that I've bought but that one is BY FAR the most expensive. I've really enjoyed my subscriptions to American Falconry and International Falconer magazines though. Those make up the bulk of my "falconry library". :-)Isaachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17248029424510169558noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19011626.post-65915837959572110212008-07-09T10:02:00.000-07:002008-07-09T10:02:00.000-07:00My sponsor told me that if I ever found a copy of ...My sponsor told me that if I ever found a copy of Desert Hawking for less than $200, to snatch it up.

I think I gasped for air when he said that. I couldn't imagine spending that much on a book! Especially when that $200 could go into something like...more equipment, bettering the mews, etc.

I own two actual falconry books...Matt's book on Kestrels and the Falconry Equipment book. Not counting the CHC study guide, which would make three books.

I've borrowed books, checked out books from the library. I have The "Red Tail Hawk" in PDF form and an older copy of William Oake's book "The Falconer's Apprentice" in PDF form.

That's pretty much it for my "falconry library".Isobaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03761115379482525260noreply@blogger.com
