A Couple of Fantastic Videos

Excuse some of the language in this one. Falconers tend to get a bit excited when they see good flights!

Wow--they've got a great videographer and have chosen some wonderful music. And the falconer (is it Kenny STerner himself?) obviously has enormous love and respect for his birds and for the sport. Great videos indeed. Thanks for sharing.

The "dark side" beckons Doug, don't do it! ;-)

Oh wow! The first video, paired with the beautiful music, was absolutely striking. I didn't know that falconers would fly two falcons at once at one bird. I loved how they seemed to work in unison.

The narrator here sounds like Tony Huston, but I may be wrong. Brilliant performance by the bird(s)/man/dog team.

One usually hears of a cast of falcons flown at other kinds of quarry (doves, magpies, etc), but they seem to be particularly effective and spectacular here as well.
